Versions, history and export
Every card keeps its history; whole-project versions let you compare, restore and export.
Card history
Every saved change to a card’s title, text or status is kept. Open a card’s history to see who changed what, compare two revisions, and restore an older one (as a new revision, so nothing is lost).
Project versions
A version is a snapshot of the whole project. StorySpine takes one automatically each day the project changes, and editors can save one by hand (before a big reshuffle, say). Find them under Versions and export in the project menu.
Admins can compare a version with the project as it is now, rename or delete versions, and restore one. Restoring saves a version of the current state first, so you can always go back.
Versions are kept for 30 days on Free and a year on Team.
Export
Editors can download the project as JSON (everything, for backups) or Markdown (readable, for sharing or printing) from the same page.
