Decisions and polls

A decision is a question the team needs to settle, with options to choose from and, optionally, some context and a due date. Open Decisions in the top bar to see them all.

Stances and polls

On a normal decision, each member takes one stance (one option) and can change it. Tick Poll when you want people to vote for several options instead. Commenters and up can vote; anyone can read the discussion in its notes.

Ruling

When it’s time, an editor rules: picks the winning option. The decision shows who ruled and when, and can be reopened. Link decisions to the cards they affect, so the cards show the open question.

Filing

A ruled decision can be filed into What we’ve agreed as one clear line, so the outcome is easy to find later.
